    The small fit my tall but average build 5 year old as the dress is stretchy at the back of the bodice. She wore it for 3 days straight even playing and climbing outsideand there are no signs of wear. It looks very adorable and the colour is lovely. It did as a normal dress length not gown as it was the 3-4year old size but my daughter said she could play in it better and liked that aspect.
